These tender ground turkey bites are savory and ever so slightly sweet. They're perfect as an appetizer or for your little ones for lunch or dinner. You could even put them on mini buns and call them sliders.

Ingredients
1lbground turkey
2cupcups uncooked sweet potato
1tsponion powder
½tspgarlic powder
1tspsalt
2Tbspchives(fresh or dried)
1tspextra virgin olive oil
2Tbspflour of choice(gluten free also works)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Finely chop, shred, or food process the raw sweet potatoes.
Mix sweet potatoes and all remaining ingredients together in a bowl, using hands or a large spoon.
Roll mixture into balls approximately 1 1/2 inch in diameter, and flatten with hands to make small patties.
Place patties onto greased baking sheet with edges (to prevent oven messes).
Bake for 18-22 minutes, flipping patties at around the half way point.
(Broil for a minute or two on each side if you want extra crunch!)
Serve hot with dipping sauce of choice.
Notes
Serve with ranch, ketchup, or sauce of choice.
These may also be made into larger patties for turkey burgers.
Tweak the seasonings to your liking! For example, add red pepper flakes or chili powder for an extra kick.
