My son loves watching Blippi, and the chocolate factory episode is one of his favorites. During this episode, we watch him make Rocky Road candy using chocolate, chopped nuts, and marshmallows. If you follow my page, you know my son is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts (and eggs), so nuts were not an option for us.

My 3 year old has always wanted to try making the Rocky Road candy Blippi makes using substitutions he can have. He is also not a fan of regular chocolate, so we used white chocolate. You could absolutely use milk chocolate, or semisweet/dark chocolate instead, though. This recipe can also be made Top 8 Free using safe chocolate (like Enjoy Life or Nestle’s Simply Delicious) and GF pretzels.

The SunButter option gives it a fun flavor twist – this is the way we make it!
