Egg Free Apple Cinnamon Bread w/ Whole Wheat (Vegan)

Vegan Apple Cinnamon Bread

This wholesome Egg Free Apple Cinnamon Bread with whole wheat flour makes an excellent breakfast staple! It’s egg free and nut free as is, and I’m confident that it would also work out well with any dairy free milk substitutes (which also makes it vegan).

My recipe calls for less refined sugar and fat than many recipes, getting some of its flavor and moistness from the unsweetened applesauce. Whole wheat flour gives this eggless apple cinnamon bread an extra boost of protein and fiber.

Since it incorporates whole wheat flour (I use King Arthur) and less sugar, I feel good about serving this bread for breakfast with some fruit and protein (or having some as a healthier dessert – or any time, really!). Try topping a slice with some SunButter and cinnamon for a great snack option with some extra protein.

I leave out the diced apples because it’s quicker, but some diced fresh apples would also be a wonderful addition! For Egg Free Apple Cinnamon Muffins, bake in a greased muffin tin for 12-16 minutes (or until a toothpick comes out clean).

This Egg Free Apple Cinnamon Bread with whole wheat flour makes an excellent breakfast staple! It’s egg free and nut free as is, and I’m confident that it would also work out well with a dairy free milk alternative (which also makes it vegan!). It contains a little less sugar than a typical quick bread recipe, and whole wheat flour gives it an extra boost of protein and fiber.
